The Rev Report - December 19, 2025

Posted Date: 12/19/25 (06:59 PM)

Dear ABRHS Community,

The Winter Band, Orchestra, and Chorus Concert on Tuesday evening was truly fabulous! Today, many students and staff sported festive sweaters, and all week, students participated in the Find the AB Snowflakes Assistant Principal Team Competition—with Mr. Baker's team eking out a win. Overall, this was a very busy week with many assignments, assessments, and activities happening before the break next Tuesday afternoon.

Latkes from the Jewish Student Union (JSU)

During lunches today, our JSU shared delicious latkes, a traditional Jewish food eaten during Hanukkah. Thank you to the JSU for this wonderful treat today!

Thank you to the PTSO!

We want to extend our appreciation to the PTSO for yesterday’s lunch from Oscar’s Burritos. As always, we are grateful for the PTSO’s generous support. Please consider joining and offering your support by clicking here.

Appreciation for Food Pantry Collection

The Food Awareness Club collected 82 pounds for the Acton Food Pantry Drive to help those in need this holiday season. Thank you to everyone for your contributions!

Winter Athletic Season Athlete and Fan Expectations

The Winter Athletic Season is here, and tonight we have a home Boys Basketball game. We are incredibly fortunate to have such engaged and supportive fans. We expect our fans and athletes to represent AB well at all times. We want to remind everyone of game and event expectations:

  • All handbook rules are in effect.

  • Fans must follow the instructions of adult supervisors.

  • Cheering should be appropriate and inclusive at all times; no singling out names or jersey numbers.

Thank you for making AB events fun and welcoming for all!

Virtual Panel of Recent AB Graduates - Tuesday, January 13

Our Counseling Department will host the webinar series, Conversations with a Counselor, to provide information about the transition to college. The first session will be a panel of recent AB graduates discussing their college application experience and transition from AB to college. It is always wonderful to hear from AB alumni about their experiences here and the world beyond AB.  The webinar will take place on Tuesday, January 13, at 6:00 pm, and will also be recorded.  A link will be provided after the December Break.

Care Solace District Launch

Please see this flyer about our new partnership with Care Solace, designed to meet the mental health needs of our community.

Science Fair Judges

We are looking for judges for our 5th Annual Science Fair on January 16 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Those with backgrounds in all areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics are welcome. Please complete this brief form and contact Brian Dempsey (bdempsey@abschools.org), Science Teacher, with questions.

Yearbook Orders for 9th, 10th, and 11th Graders

It is time to purchase the 2025-2026 ABRHS Yearbook for 9th - 11th graders. The yearbook will include portraits, events, and activities for students in all grades. Families of 9th - 11th graders may purchase a yearbook using this link (please use Order #4006). Every senior has already purchased a yearbook through their senior dues, so there is no need to fill out this form for your senior.

Have an enjoyable weekend!

Sincerely,
