Acton-Boxborough Regional High School - for Scheduling Year 2026-27
High school 2026-27 course registration will be open for current 8th, 9th, 10th & 11th graders from
8am March 11th to 6pm March 23rd.
Logging in to the PowerSchool Portal
- For Grade 8 students, parents and caregivers can access their PowerSchool Portal accounts via the high school website. Parents and caregivers will enter their username and password. If they do not have these, they may contact Jackie Bedoya in the main office by email jbedoya@abschools.org.
- For 9-11 grade students, login from the browser requires a single sign-on using their school email address. Full step-by-step instructions on how to log in to the student Powerschool portal can be found here: Student Portal Quick Start Guide.
Once in the portal, select Class Registration from the navigation bar on the left. Follow the directions for selecting courses that your teachers have recommended for you, as well as any electives you would like to take. Once you hit “Submit” you can review all your selections. Course selection is not first come, first served. You may revisit the electronic “Course Registration” to modify your requests at any time during the registration period. After that, changes will be handled through the Counseling Center. If for any reason a recommended class does not appear, students should contact their current teacher for that subject. After March 23rd, your courses will be listed in the PowerSchool Portal under “Course Requests”.
Physical Education:
Incoming 9th grade students will take Fitness for Living in their first year of high school. Students in 9-11th grades will select a single preferred P.E. elective, from among several which all meet the physical education course requirement. If that selection can't be scheduled, the student will be placed in a different P.E. course.
Incoming 9th graders will be automatically scheduled for Directed Study during all free periods.
