Important Senior Dates

August 19-21:  Senior Portraits (8:00 am to 2:00 pm in 115N)

August & September:  Pick up Parking Stickers for senior lot (Room 107N)

August 29:  First day of school - grades 10 - 12

October 7-11:  Senior Portraits (3:00 to 8:00 p.m., Library Conf Rm 235S) October 15th:  Senior Class Meeting - Report to the Auditorium, 3rd period Nov 6 & 7 - Senior Due Drive Blitz payment is $170 by 11/15, $185 after 11/15

November 12-15:  Senior Portraits (3:00 to 8:00 p.m., Library Conf Rm 235S)

November 27:  Senior Dress Up Day - Early Release at 11:18 a.m.

January 22:  Community Service Awards Night - 7:00 pm, Auditorium

February 3:  Local Scholarship Application Opens February : Possible Senior Class Meeting (TBD)

March 2:  Local Scholarship Application Closes

March 18 : Senior Class Meeting - Report to Auditorium, Period 2

Senior Dues

Each member of the senior class participating in graduation exercises will be required to pay senior class dues.  The cost is $170 and increases to $185 after November 15th.  This amount covers the cost of the cap & gown, yearbook, and end of the year senior event.  A payment plan can be arranged if necessary.  Please see your counselor or Dean of Students for additional information or to set up a payment plan. 

Online Payments - e-Funds for Schools
The Acton-Boxborough Regional School District is pleased to introduce a new payment option called e-Funds for Schools.  This program offers various options for parents/guardians who choose to make payments online and is extremely user-friendly.  Not only will you have the ability to have various school fees electronically withdrawn from your checking account or charged to your credit card, you also have the flexibility to make a payment at any time.  Click HERE to set up your account or make a payment using e-Funds for Schools.

Senior Parking

Parking on campus will be available for seniors only, at a cost of $200 for the year.  Those seniors wishing to purchase a parking sticker may report to Room 102 North (Campus Support Room-near the Gazebo entrance).  If you have outstanding parking fees, you will not be issued a parking sticker until the fine is paid.  

Graduation Information

Graduation will be held on Friday, June 5th, 2020 at 5:30 p.m. on Edward M. Leary Field at 5:30 p.m. - Seniors should report to the field at 4:30 p.m.  Graduation ceremony lasts approximately 90 minutes.  

All graduation rehearsals are MANDATORY.  Students will not be allowed to participate in graduation if they do not attend rehearsals.  The dates and times for rehearsals are as follows:

  • Tuesday, June 2  - 10:00 to 11:30 am - Leary Field
  • Wednesday, June 3 -  10:00 to 11:30 am - Leary Field, cap and gown handout
  • Thursday, June 4 - 10:00 to 11:30 am - Leary Field 


Project Graduation

June 7 - 8 - Project Graduation - 10:00 pm to 5:00 am - High School
(This is an all-night substance-free party for the graduates and is sponsored by the PTSO.

Obligations

Please note that only students who have completed and passed all course requirements will be eligible to participate in the graduation ceremony.  If you are in doubt as to your academic record, please check in with your counselor.  
All materials and equipment loaned to you by the school must be returned to the appropriate teacher, coach or advisor prior to graduation rehearsals.  Please return all library books to the library.  Any outstanding fines (library, parking, books, etc.) must be paid before graduation rehearsals.  


Graduation Weather-Related Relocation Plan

Due to inclement weather on Graduation Day, we will move the graduation inside and hold the ceremony in the upper gym.  All times will remain the same, students report at 4:30 pm and the graduation ceremony will start at 5:30 pm.  Notification of this change will happen by 11:00 a.m. on the day of graduation, notification of the rain venue will be made via Connect-Ed call, email, and the information will be posted on the ABRHS website.

Graduation Photography

Photographs will be taken by a professional photographer who has been engaged specifically for graduation.  The photographer will take your graduate's picture as he/she receives their diplomas.  There is no obligation to purchase this picture, however, if you wish to take advantage of the photo offer from the photographer, you should follow directions in the materials that will be sent to you under separate cover.
