Dear ABRHS Community,

This week’s activities included Graduation Rehearsals, Senior Kimballs Outing, Science MCAS for 10th graders, and Class Election Assemblies for 9th and 10th Graders.

Best of luck to our Boys Lacrosse at their Elite 8 playoff game tomorrow night and to all individuals competing in the Track and Field Tournament of Champions this weekend. Go AB!

Tonight, we look forward to celebrating the Class of 2026 at their Graduation Ceremony. Congratulations, graduates!

LGBTQ Pride Month - June

In June, we honor LGBTQ Pride Month. Pride Month commemorates the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in New York and celebrates the LGBTQ community. The Stonewall Uprising began on June 28, 1969, when police raided the Stonewall Inn, a prominent gay bar in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village. The subsequent protests over the next six days are credited with a shift in LGBTQ activism in the U.S. We are proud to honor our LGBTQ community.

Class of 2026 Graduation - June 5, 2025

We will have our Graduation Ceremony on Leary Field this evening at 5:30 pm. Each graduate has two white tickets for guests to sit on the field. All other guests are invited to sit in the bleachers or on the hill near the Junior High. We encourage you to get to campus early to have ample time to park and find seats. PTSO and Project Graduation

Thank you to the PTSO Project Graduation volunteers for their help in organizing a safe, substance-free celebration for our graduates tonight.

Last Day of School and Coursework

Due to our four snow days this year, we will have school until Thursday, June 25 this year. It is expected that all students attend school through June 25, as their coursework will continue until that time. If families plan for students to miss more than two school days between now and June 25, students are asked to contact their Assistant Principal to make a plan to complete coursework and to comply with our Attendance and Credit Loss Policy.

Last Day of School, Step-Up Day and Half Day, Thursday, June 25, Dismissal at 11:22 am

Thursday, June 25 is our last day of school. It will be a half-day, and students will be dismissed at 11:22 am. We will have all class blocks and our annual Step-Up Celebration in the middle of the morning.

Course Requests for 2026-2027 School Year

Students and Families received this message from the Scheduling Team early this week. Students are asked to follow the instructions to verify that their course requests for next year are accurate.

Class of 2027 - Senior Portraits

Students in the Class of 2027 can now book Senior Portrait Sessions with Mark Lawrence Photographers. Sessions will be at ABRHS from July 20 to July 24 and August 10 to 14. Check your email for a message from Mark Lawrence Photographers for more details.

The Spectrum - AB School Newspaper

The Spectrum is pleased to share the Graduation Issue of the school newspaper, now available online at this link.

Student Parking

Beginning on June 8, juniors may park in the Senior Lot. Next school year, juniors must purchase a parking permit to park in this lot.

PowerSchool App for Students - Reminder

Students can now use the PowerSchool app on their mobile devices. The app is an easy way to view current grades, class schedules, upcoming assignments, attendance, and more.
