The Rev Report - November 14, 2025

Posted Date: 11/14/25 (04:53 PM)

Dear ABRHS Community,

With Professional Learning Day and Veterans Day, we had a short school week. We want to thank the PTSO for generously providing lunch from Roche Bros. for our faculty and staff on Monday's Professional Learning Day. Additionally, it was our privilege to honor many local veterans at our 13th Annual National Honor Society (NHS) Veterans Day Breakfast on Tuesday.

The second quarter is now in full swing, and students and families will receive first quarter grade reports via email today. Additionally, earlier this week, seniors and their families received an email with an unofficial draft of their grades. These grades are sent to colleges as part of the college application process.

We are proud of our students for putting forth their best effort during these first few months. As always, the first term of any school year is a time of adjustment to new classes and course expectations. We have plenty of time left in the school year, and we encourage students to reach out to their teachers and counselors at any time with questions or to request support.

AP (Assistant Principal) Team Standings

After this week's Everyone is Awesome Guess the Weight of the Legos Contest, the new AP Team standings are as follows: Team Hagopian is still looking for their first points of the year. Team Baker is in third place with two points. Team Mullin is nearly at the top with three points, and Team Vanasse is in the lead with four points!

Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Good Citizen Award

We are pleased to award the DAR Good Citizen Award to 12th grader Yoyo Wu. Each year, the ABRHS staff nominates members of the senior class who exemplify dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism at school and in the community. The senior class then votes for the winner. Congratulations, Yoyo, on being selected by the faculty and your classmates as the DAR Good Citizen Award recipient for the Class of 2026!

AB Forward and Reorganization Reminders

Many community and staff members have participated in recent forums and focus groups. I encourage you to visit the AB Forward Website for more information. Updates on next steps are shared at School Committee Meetings and AB Forward Steering Committee Meetings.
