Acton-Boxborough Regional High School

The Rev Report - September 26, 2025

Posted Date: 9/26/25 (6:25 PM)

Dear ABRHS Students and Families,

A highlight of the week was a visit from Gyeongsan Science High School. Sixty student visitors came all the way from South Korea to experience life at AB! Our visitors participated in Science, World Language, and Math classes, taking part in class activities and discussions with AB students. South Korean students were excited to eat lunch in an American cafeteria, play basketball, and tour our large school!

Students from both schools were so eager to meet each other and, even though they met for only a few hours, lasting friendships were formed. The Closing Ceremony was a wonderful celebration that included a student dance performance from the Gyeongsan Science High School, followed by an upbeat performance from the AB Jazz Band as our visitors said goodbye. I witnessed pure joy and enthusiasm between the AB and South Korean students as they learned about each other and their respective cultures. It was a truly magical experience!

12th Grade Updates

The Senior Class had a Class Assembly on Wednesday to discuss the upcoming year. The 12th grade class has set a positive and spirited tone for the rest of the school through their leadership and actions so far this year. This is a busy time for seniors, and we encourage students to reach out to counselors when needed for support and guidance. Please take note of the following:

  • Friday College Application Drop-Ins - From September 26 through November 7, counselors are available during lunch periods in 230E for support and to answer questions about college applications.

  • Transcript Requests - Transcript requests must be submitted through the student's SCOIR account at least 15 school days before the college’s deadline. Please see this video for a visual instruction on requesting transcripts for college applications.

  • Senior Dues - Senior dues ($200.00) pay for the following: Cap and Gown, High School Diploma, Senior T-Shirt, Yearbook, and a ticket to the Kimball Farm Outing. Senior dues are required for all seniors. Please follow this link to learn more. Additionally, at dismissal time on Monday (1:15 pm), senior dues can be dropped off with the Senior Class Advisors at the Senior Staircase.

  • Caps and Gowns - Please watch this video that includes instructions and a link to order your caps and gowns. The cost of your cap and gown is included in your senior dues, so you will not need to provide payment information in order to submit your cap and gown order. The deadline is Friday, October 17
